Mercury Mountaineer

After the legendary Firestone fire scandal, Ford ultimately lost a legion of its sales. Then came the Chevy Trailblazer which held on to its lead as a prime seller. It was the mid-1990s boom of Sport Utility Vehicles, and Ford vowed to come up with another championship designed to stay on the lead just like the rest of its pride. Based on one of Ford's bestselling aces, the Explorer, the Mercury Mountaineer was created in 1997. A restyled, refined and repackaged Ford version, Mercury Mountaineer hit the mark of success. To be able to get everyone's attention, Mercury Mountaineer has been given a larger interior capable of seating up to seven passengers. Slowly, it has escaped Explorer’s shadow in its refined image in its 2002 design.
Available in three trim levels, Convenience, Luxury, and Premier, each of them spells glamour and luxury which at that time were seldom configured in an SUV. A host of new features in its exterior and interior makeup as well as in terms of safety surprised every Mountaineer patron. Being named as "Best Pick", this vehicle is properly equipped and has an excellent towing capacity of 6,980 pounds. Moreover, Mercury Mountaineer is softly tuned, performs well both under the sun and the rain, has excellent handling, and offers more grunt on the line. No doubt about it as Mercury Mountaineer parts, just like any other mercury parts are guaranteed to be always in the best performing condition no matter what the weather is.
